COURSE PROPOSAL FOR VICTORIAN TEA
This course proposal for Victorian tea can be for classes taught at the community college, university, or parks and recreation department.
This would be a two hour class. The purpose is to teach the participant about tea—different kinds of tea, brewing a perfect pot of tea, and pouring tea—and about the different kinds of foods served at an English tea. They will sample foods and two different teas served at a Victorian Afternoon Tea. Foods served would be cucumber and cream cheese sandwiches, cream scone with lemon curd and Devonshire cream, shortbread, and Dundee cake. Each will take home recipes and information on tea. Each participant is asked to bring a china teacup.
